What are the responsibilities and job description for the Director of Technology Delivery position at Community Credit Union of Florida?
COMMUNITY CREDIT UNION of FLORIDA
Director of Technology Delivery
The primary purpose of this position is to assist Community Credit Union of Florida in living out our Mission, “Always improve the financial well-being of our members and make a positive difference in the communities we serve,” by delivering outstanding service to both internal and external members. The Director of Technology Delivery is responsible for building, leading, and maturing the Technology Delivery function at Community Credit Union of Florida. This role partners closely with Technology Operations, Technology Security, the Project Management Office (PMO), Business Product Owners, Business Process leaders, and third-party vendors to support the successful delivery of system enhancements and technology initiatives. The Director is accountable for delivery governance, analyst effectiveness, release readiness coordination, delivery reporting, audit-ready evidence, and leadership of technical staff responsible for automating processes and integrating new technologies. In the early build phase, direct leadership of technology projects will be selective and limited, with primary emphasis placed on standing up the analyst team, establishing a scalable delivery operating model, and building automation and integration capability.
In the initial build phase, this role directly leads the Technology Delivery Business Systems Analyst functions and technical staff responsible for automation and integration, establishing the team structure, standards, workflows, domain alignment, and performance expectations for the delivery organization. The Director will initially focus more on building analyst capability, delivery discipline, and automation and integration capacity than on managing a large portfolio of technology projects. As the function matures, scope will expand to include broader leadership of technology initiatives, additional delivery resources, and more formalized portfolio oversight.
Business Product Owners (BPOs) are the decision makers for product ownership, business prioritization, and business outcome realization. Technology Delivery is accountable for delivery governance, analysis quality, execution support, UAT discipline, release readiness coordination, audit-ready evidence, and delivery reporting in partnership with BPOs and stakeholders.
