- Maintain records and files proving eligibility for childcare assistance payment for applicants.
- Review Applications and other documents submitted by applicants and verify information for compliance with NJ DFD Instructions as outlined in policy.
- Process requests for Change in Providers
- Process requests for initial and annual Child Abuse Record Investigations and Home Inspections
- Educate parent of other childcare options (RFCC, child care centers, etc.)
- Maintain spreadsheets of applicants whose periods of subsidy are ending each month or whose agreements can be extended if proof of license extension is received.
- BA preferred but not required
- Detail oriented
- Excellent customer service skills
- Good at calculating numbers
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Teams, Outlook, SharePoint
- Must know how to scan.
