Community Connections - Before and Afterschool

Washington Central Unified Union School District is looking for caring, positive and engaged staff to help in the areas of before and after care programming. Community Connections is a childcare program that provides services and enrichment programs for students within WCUUSD schools. The students we serve participate in our PreK program (3 & 4 year olds) and our Before and After school programs, which serve students from the ages of 5 to 12 years old. Our PreK programming is available at Berlin Elementary, Rumney Memorial School and East Montpelier Elementary. Our PreK program hours are 8:45 a.m. - 3:30 P.M. five days per week. Our Before and Afterschool programs serve the students of Berlin, Calais, East Montpelier, Middlesex and Worcester. The hours of operation are 7:30 a.m. - 8:45 a.m. for our before school programs and 3:30 p.m. - 5:30 p.m. (Wednesdays 3:00 p.m. - 5:30 p.m.) for our afterschool programs. Start and end times may vary based on staffing and programming needs. Additional programming for school vacation camps and summer programs hours are available and offered to the staff. We are taking applications for permanent staff working 5-20 hours a week as well as anyone interested in being a substitute for these programs. In addition, there maybe a possible tax incentive for people on social security.
