Community Connection Programs, Inc. (CCP) is seeking a highly organized, personable, and dependable Office Assistant to support our Baton Rouge operations team. This position plays an important role in helping coordinate caregiver staffing, client services, office organization, and administrative support for our Medicaid home and community-based services programs.
The ideal candidate is professional, detail-oriented, compassionate, and able to manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced healthcare environment. Medical Assistant certification or prior healthcare office experience is strongly preferred.
ResponsibilitiesAnswer and direct phone calls professionally
Greet caregivers, clients, and visitors
Assist with caregiver onboarding paperwork and file organization
Maintain organized client and employee records
Support scheduling and staffing coordination
Assist with compliance tracking and documentation follow-up
Monitor emails, faxes, and incoming office correspondence
Communicate with caregivers regarding documentation and office requirements
Assist management team with administrative projects and reporting
Maintain office organization and supplies
Support day-to-day office operations as needed
Medical Assistant certification preferred
Prior healthcare, home care, or medical office experience strongly preferred
Exceptional organizational skills
Strong communication and customer service skills
Comfortable multitasking in a fast-paced environment
Professional phone etiquette
Strong computer skills (Microsoft Office, email, data entry)
Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism
