Job Summary

Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality patient care through thorough assessments, vital signs monitoring, and detailed medical documentation using EMR (Electronic Medical Record) and EHR (Electronic Health Record) systems
- Administer medications, injections, IV insertions, and other treatments following strict protocols and safety guidelines
- Conduct patient evaluations based on physiology and anatomy knowledge to determine appropriate interventions and escalate concerns promptly
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop individualized care plans that address both acute and chronic conditions including trauma, infectious diseases, geriatrics, or outpatient needs
- Maintain HIPAA compliance by safeguarding patient confidentiality and handling sensitive medical records with integrity
- Perform patient assessments, monitor vital signs, and document all nursing activities accurately to support seamless continuity of care
Requirements
- Valid RN or LPN license in good standing with relevant state licensing boards
- Proven experience in Level II trauma centers, emergency medicine, hospital medicine, or related acute care settings; experience in Level I Trauma Centers is highly desirable
- Strong background in medical-surgical nursing, urgent care, outpatient clinics, or post-acute/sub-acute care environments
- Proficiency with EMR/EHR systems for accurate medical documentation and record keeping
- Knowledge of basic life support (BLS), venipuncture, injection administration, medication management, and vital signs monitoring
- Ability to perform IV insertions with precision and confidence; familiarity with medical terminology is essential
- Excellent patient assessment skills combined with a solid understanding of physiology and anatomy to inform clinical decisions
- Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with healthcare teams and educate patients about their care plans
