We are currently seeking dependable, detail-oriented individuals to join our team as a District Porter in the Charlotte, NC area. This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in their work, enjoys working independently, and is looking to earn supplemental income with a flexible evening schedule. What You'll Do:
✅ Collect bagged trash and recyclables from residents' doorsteps throughout your assigned communities on the schedule for the night. Typically working 4-6 hour shifts.
✅ Transport collected waste to the community's onsite compactor or dumpster using your open-bed pickup truck.
✅ Ensure broom swept cleanliness of compactor and trash chute areas.
✅ Provide courteous and professional interactions with community residents.
✅ Change dog station and common area waste bags.
Compensation:
- $150 per day Sunday through Thursday
- $125 per day for any Friday/Saturday coverage
- W2 employment position
- Pay issued via direct deposit on the 5th and 20th of each month
- A valid bank account is required for payroll processing
Schedule & Hours:
- Main working hours: are 6pm - 2am Sunday through Thursday / 6pm - 12am Friday & Saturday
- Must work: 2 weekends per month
- Shift duration: 4-6 hours per night, based on route and pace
- Weekly average: 20-30 hours, with potential for additional shifts depending on performance and availability
- Maximum: Up to 5 shifts per week available
Requirements: To be considered for this role, applicants must meet the following minimum qualifications:
- Truck: No Truck Required but must have 5 years of clean driving experience and a valid drivers license and insurance.
- Technology: A smartphone with an active data plan (for route communication and task verification).
- Physical Fitness: Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs., climb stairs, and work in varying weather conditions without assistance.
