Lakes Region Community College is seeking qualified individuals who are interested in adjunct teaching at the College on a course-by-course basis. Adjunct appointments are temporary and for a specified contract period only.CCSNH has established employer status within the New England states (Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont, Massachusetts, Connecticut, and Rhode Island). In compliance with CCSNH policies and state regulations, eligibility for employment within CCSNH and its institutions requires residency within a New England state.We have a need for an instructor for the following courses in our Culinary Arts program:Spring 2026 Daytime Class – In PersonHOS113L Introduction to Worldwide CuisineOn-Campus daytime class (Thursdays 8am – 230pm)January 20, 2026 - May 9, 2026Course Description: The student will apply concepts and skills learned in Culinary Fundamentals and expand knowledge of the restaurant setting. A six-hour lab will focus on international cuisine with a separate cuisine featured on each week’s menu. Costing, purchasing, menu terminology, quality recipe production and kitchen organization are stressed.Minimum Qualifications:Education: Bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited college or university with major study in Pastry Arts or Culinary Arts. Possession of a Bachelor’s degree in Education shall require an Associate’s degree in Pastry Arts or Culinary Arts.Experience: Six (6) years of teaching experience in Pastry Arts or Culinary Arts, two years of which shall have been in the supervision of students or personnel in educational activities or academic program administration or six (6) years of business or industry experience directly related to the field of Pastry Arts or Culinary Arts, two years’ which shall have been in the supervision of personnel or program/project administration.License/Certification: Valid driver’s license required.Preferred Qualifications: Familiarity with Learning Management Systems such as Canvas, Moodle, Google Classroom, Blackboard, etc.Application Process:Submit your application online with cover letter, resume/Curriculum Vitae, and copy of official/unofficial transcripts.In your cover letter:Please list courses you have taught (if applicable)Please list courses you are qualified to teach (To learn more about course offerings at LRCC, please visit https://www.lrcc.edu/academics/academic-programs)Include your availability (i.e. days, evenings, weekends)Please note: Resumes will not be accepted in lieu of a completed employment application and Employment History Sections that state "see resume" will not be accepted.
