Duties And Responsibilities
Since opening its doors for the first time on September 24, 1964, the Community College of Rhode Island has created a strong foundation as the state’s only associate degree-granting institution serving all Rhode Islanders with an affordable, high-quality education.

Duties And Responsibilities
- Provide front-desk and phone support; answer calls, emails, texts, and in-person questions.
- Scan, file, and maintain records to ensure complete and accurate files.
- Conduct outreach on balances and payment options using clear, supportive communication.
- Take payments by card, cash, or check.
- Compile and organize billing and account information
- Protect confidential information and follow all office rules.
- Perform general clerical tasks (data entry, copying, filing, organizing supplies).
- Complete other duties as assigned.
- High school graduate or equivalent
- Demonstrated relevant work experience providing outstanding customer service
- Demonstrated excellent time management skills, high learning agility, creative problem solving, interpersonal, oral, and written communications, and presentation skills, with strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Demonstrated proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office, Internet applications, and database software
- Experience working in an accounting office setting
- Experience in maintaining accounts receivable and or collections
- Associate's or Certificate in Accounting or Business Administration
