Duties And Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate a commitment to the philosophy and mission of a comprehensive community college\
  • Work collaboratively in a diverse, inclusive, and student-centered environment, with students of various learning styles, cultures, identities, and life-experiences

Instructional Skills

  • Courses will meet in person on any of the CCRI campuses, days, or evenings
  • Plan, develop, present, and modify courses from proposal to syllabus to delivery (classroom, hybrid), to assessment, to evaluation
  • Teach assigned courses
  • Convey knowledge and skills effectively to students
  • Continue professional development as an educator
  • Use advanced technologies to expand student resources and learning opportunities
  • Assess student learning according to best practices in the measurement of student performance objectives and outcomes
  • Demonstrate creativity and flexibility in pedagogical approaches to a diverse population of students and peers

Minimum Requirements

  • Master’s degree in a related field
  • 2-5 years of higher education teaching experience
  • Qualified according to standards outlined by the Accreditation Council for Business Schools and Programs (ACBSP for faculty teaching in associate degree programs)
