The purpose of this position is to provide support for transfer evaluation and regulatory compliance for reporting.
Compensation within the posted range is determined by a candidate's education level and/or years of experience in the field. Generally, employees are hired in the lower third of the scale.

Bachelor’s degree; preferably in social sciences, education, or business. Three (3)
years of experience working in a student services environment. Experience with state, external agency, and college regulations for academic and enrollment policies (i.e., COMAR, MHEC, and FERPA); experience using a student information system, preferably Ellucian Banner; and experience with document imaging required.
- Update and maintain course equivalencies within CCBC’s student information system-Banner.
- Ensure compliance with MHEC and COMAR regulations.
- Analyze workflow processes, propose solutions, resolve problems/issues, prepare reports, analyze data, provide recommendations for improved workflow, and assure appropriate use of systems.
- Access student transcripts, evaluate and post credits.
- Attend statewide transfer meetings and seminars.
- Coordinate a functional process within assigned College department or division.
- Assist upper management in developing policies and procedures.
- Monitor compliance with policies and procedures.
- Maintains department records and files, as required.
- Prepare, analyze, and provide reports as requested.
- Research and gather data for integration into the college’s student information system (i.e., Banner).
- Utilize the Articulation module in Banner to update and maintain current course equivalencies, degree, and certificate information.
- Improve and refine processes within the Banner Articulation module to increase the efficiency of the transcript evaluation process.
- Prepare and email Transfer Evaluation Reports to students and institutions.
- Review Transfer Evaluation Reports from receiving institutions and facilitate discussions as required.
- Collect and document data for the annual MHEC Transfer Evaluation Report.
- Manage the Transfer with Success email domain, processing and responding to inquiries and requests.
- Analyze and deliver data in a usable, comprehensive format, as requested.
- Generate reports based on stakeholder needs.
- Collect and review data for the Senior Director of Enrollment Services (Registrar), Associate Registrar, and the Director of Academic Records & Transfer Services.
- Assist with the review, evaluation, and posting of credits for official transcripts, which includes college/military, domestic and international transcripts, standardized assessments, documentation of experiential learning and professional certifications, and domestic and international students.
- Assist with the coordination of the daily operations of transfer evaluations, including military, traditional, and non-traditional course work of the assigned college division or function.
- Assist the Manager of Catalog and Transfer Systems with the implementation of course equivalencies in Quottly (ARTSYS) and the Transfer Evaluation System (TES).
- Assist the Director of Academic Records & Transfer Services with quality assurance review, data cleanup, and MHEC state reporting.
- Support visiting and online program students with unofficial transcript reviews to facilitate the enrollment process.
- Support Reverse Transfer and Degrees to Succeed initiatives, as needed.
