What are the responsibilities and job description for the Community Closet - SALES ASSOCIATE position at Community Closet Thrift Store?
COMMUNITY CLOSET is looking to fill multiple hours for a SALES ASSOCIATE, part-time. We offer flexible schedules, an incredible team of coworkers, dedication to our mission and community, and a wonderful place to work.
Our work is VERY physically active – the majority of the shift is spent on your feet, lifting, bending, twisting, turning. This requires being able to stand/walk/move for hours on end and be able to lift 35 pounds regularly.
Being a sales associate involves interacting with shoppers, stocking items in the stores, etc. We have some available hours of intake from donors, moving goods around, sorting, organizing.
Positions operate in a very busy, non-stop environment that can be loud and sometimes chaotic.
This position has a part-time schedule that MUST include Saturdays.
Candidates must be reliable teammates and have a proven record of excellent attendance at previous jobs. We need people who show up to work on time, be ready to work all scheduled shifts, and can be counted on by their coworkers.
