We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Clinical Research Assistant to join our clinical research team in Spring, Texas. This is a hands-on role supporting the Site Manager and research team with clinical trial operations, patient-related activities, laboratory processing, and study documentation.
Responsibilities
- Assist the Site Manager with day-to-day clinical research activities
- Perform EDC data entry and maintain accurate study documentation
- Upload study documents and assist with maintaining research records
- Assist with patient pre-screening for clinical trial eligibility
- Perform blood draws/venipuncture and specimen collection
- Process, prepare, package, and coordinate shipment of laboratory specimens
- Handle and maintain dry ice for specimen shipments
- Maintain inventory of lab kits, dry ice, and research supplies
- Assist with study visits and other research-related tasks as needed
- Follow study protocols, GCP requirements, and site procedures
Qualifications
- Previous clinical research or healthcare experience mandatory
- Comfortable working with laboratory specimens and clinical trial documentation
- Strong computer and data-entry skills
- Highly organized with excellent attention to detail
- Dependable, professional, and able to work effectively as part of a research team
Experience with clinical trials, EDC systems, or research specimen processing is a plus.
