Job Summary
Community Clinic is seeking a front desk Patient Coordinator for the Siloam Springs Medical Center. Must have strong computer skills, excellent communication, organizational ability, and be comfortable in a fast-paced environment. Spanish language ability is required. The schedule for this role is Monday-Friday 7:15a-5:15p.
Key Responsibilities
- Provides exceptional customer service during all aspects of a patient visit to Community Clinic.
- Ensures patient information is entered into the electronic medical record (EMR) accurately and updated regularly for all patients.
- Ensures patient payments are collected, posted correctly to accounts and collections are balanced daily.
- Schedules patient appointments
- Maintains a clean and orderly work environment
- Assists as requested by provider in procedures and examinations within guidelines of certification and/or training.
- Translates written and verbal communication between patient and providers, nurses or ancillary staff, as requested by either the patient or staff and as skills allow.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Must be capable using Microsoft office.
- Bilingual Spanish/English is required.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with people of all backgrounds.
- Experience in reception, health care, and/or customer service strongly preferred
