Assistant teachers

Job Summary
We are seeking dedicated and passionate Assistant Teachers to join our Infant and toddler classrooms. The ideal candidate will support lead teachers in creating a nurturing and stimulating faith based environment for children, fostering creativity, growth and development.

Duties

• Assist in the implementation of lesson plans.
• Support classroom management by maintaining a positive, caring and organized learning environment.
• Engage with children during activities, promoting their social, emotional, and cognitive development.
• Provide individualized attention to students, especially those requiring additional support.
• Maintain a safe and clean classroom environment, ensuring all materials are organized and accessible.
• Communicate effectively with parents regarding student daily growth and needs and classroom activities.
• Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance skills in childhood development and curriculum planning.
• Assist I running daily routines in accordance to child care license and regulations.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children in a childcare setting is preferred.
• Knowledge of childhood development principles and practices.
• Familiarity with child care license regulations and rules Is a plus.
• Strong classroom management abilities to maintain a nurturing environment.
• A genuine passion for nurturing children's growth and fostering a love for learning.
• First Aid and CPR trained or willingness to be trained.
• Pass a comprehensive background check.
• Willing to take a minimum of 24 hours of professional development annually.
