Infant /Toddler Teacher Assistant

Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and attentive Infant / Toddler Teacher Assistant to join our early childhood education team. You will assist in providing a nurturing and safe environment for infants and toddlers. Your primary focus will be on providing quality infant care, assisting with daily activities, and ensuring each child's developmental needs are met. This position is Monday through Friday 9:30am-5:30pm.

Responsibilities

• Assist lead teachers in implementing daily routines and activities tailored to infants and toddlers.
• Provide attentive infant care, including feeding, diapering, and comforting as needed.
• Support children’s social, emotional, and physical development through engaging interactions.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for children at all times.
• Ensure adherence to health and safety policies in all aspects of caregiving.
• Communicate effectively with parents or guardians regarding their child's day-to-day experiences and needs.

• Prior experience working with young children is preferred but not required; willingness to learn is essential.

Qualifications

• 18 years of age
• CPR and 1st Aid Certification (or willingness to obtain)
• Must pass a background check and be fingerprinted

Pay: From $9.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
