We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Child Care Teacher to join our early childhood education team. Responsibilities
- Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum and activities for infants, toddlers, and preschool children
- Ensure the safety and well-being of all children in the classroom at all times
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and engaging learning environment
- Manage classroom behavior using effective behavior management techniques
- Provide individual attention to children with special needs or disabilities as needed
- Maintain accurate records of children's progress and daily activities
- Communicate regularly with parents or guardians regarding their child's development and daily experiences
- Assist with diapering, feeding, and other caregiving duties as required
- Collaborate with colleagues to plan activities that promote social, emotional, and cognitive growth
Experience
- Prior experience working with children in daycare, preschool, or similar settings is preferred
- Knowledge of childhood development theories and practices
- Experience with classroom management and behavior guidance strategies
- Certification in First Aid and CPR is highly desirable
- Background in special education or working with children with disabilities is a plus
- Hands-on experience caring for infants, toddlers, or preschoolers through nannying, babysitting, or caregiving roles is beneficial
- Familiarity with early childhood education standards and best practices in childcare settings
