What are the responsibilities and job description for the Lead Trainer position at Community Child Care Solutions?
Community Child Care Solutions seeks a bilingual (Spanish/English) Lead Trainer plan, develop, coordinate and implement high quality professional development experiences for early care educators. Lead Trainer will plan, develop, coordinate and implement special projects, trainings and agency programs. The Lead Trainer is responsible for planning, developing and distribution of all brochures and flyers for workshops seminars, CDA and conferences; registration for all training events, keeping accurate records of attendance for all trainings; prepares handouts and sign-in sheets for all trainings, confirm dates, times, locations and presenters for trainings; locate and confirm training space; maintain data base for tracking training; upload trainings and documents on agency website and the NJ Workforce Registry; tracking and processing payments for CDA trainings. Complete knowledge in the area of training and Early Care and Education, adult learning principles, curriculum development and implementation is required.
Position includes but is not limited to providing coaching, professional development presentations/ training, onsite consultation and technical assistance, and comprehensive services, including resource identification and community outreach and education to aid and enhance the development of child care programs, licensed centers and registered family child care serving infants and toddlers, birth to 3 years of age. This includes collecting critical data to support child care program assessment and development of new programs as outlined by DFD.
The position involves some travel to county programs, as well as occasional evenings and weekends. Bilingual (Spanish/English) is preferred.
Minimum of 3 years training experience, ability to interact and relate to a variety of different cultures, excellent written and verbal skills, knowledgeable about best practices in child care, child development, early care and education issues.
A Bachelor’s degree is required, along with a valid driver’s license and acceptable driving history is also required.
