Bus Driver
Qualifications:
Valid Washington Driver's License and proof of insurance. Yearly driving records needed. Must be 21 years of age.
Job Requirements:
Pass a DCYF and WATCH criminal background check. Must be able to relate positively to children, staff and parents. Must be able to speak and understand the English language. Receive a current TB screening and complete a physical examination, which verifies physical constraint job requirements. (Physical constraints required include the ability to hear a conversational voice, with or without a hearing aid, the ability to see and read newsprint with or without corrective lenses, to speak and be understood under normal circumstances, and to use arms and legs and feet with or without corrective devices to accomplish the job. This includes evacuation of the building during emergencies). First Aid/CPR training and Blood borne pathogens.
Duties include but are not limited to:
Safely drive the bus and consistently follow all policies and procedures of CCCC. Daily bus pre-trip safety checks. Monthly car safety checks on all CCCC vehicles. Maintenance of all Center vehicles, i.e. clean inside and outside monthly, service maintenance inspections, licenses, tabs, brakes, etc. Communicate regularly with transportation monitors. Conduct bus evacuation drills. Responsible for the Center's recycling, conducts limited snow removal at GHW center.
Salary: $19.24 hourly.
Part-time - 9 months.
