For over 60 years, Community Child Care Center has been a trusted, nonprofit, state-licensed program serving Stevens Point and surrounding communities. Since 1965, we’ve created a warm, homelike environment where children- from 6 weeks through 6 years- feel safe, supported, and truly known.
We’re currently looking for a Teacher’s Assistant who is ready to make a meaningful difference each day (and be part of a team that genuinely cares about one another, too).
What You’ll Do
As a Teacher’s Assistant, you’ll play an essential role in nurturing and guiding children throughout their day. You’ll support the lead teacher in:
- Providing attentive, active supervision
- Creating smooth, positive transitions
- Assisting with meals and daily routines
- Supporting engaging, age-appropriate curriculum
- Helping create a classroom that feels calm, joyful, and connected

Schedule
Monday–Friday | 6:45 AM – 5:45 PM (scheduled shifts within these hours)
40 hours/week
What We’re Looking For
- At least 18 years old with a high school diploma (or equivalent)
- Willingness to complete a pre-employment physical and background check
- Current (or willingness to obtain within 3 months) CPR/AED certification
- Ability to lift up to 35 pounds
