What are the responsibilities and job description for the Patient Support Supervisor position at Community Care Physicians?
Our Albany Family Medicine office is hiring a full-time Patient Support Supervisor to join our team! The hours are: Monday - Friday, 8:30am-5:00pm.
Essential Functions include, but are not limited to:
- Assist with training and supervising assigned staff and helping them develop performance goals and objectives.
- Oversee orientation and training of new clerical staff.
- Analyze workload requirements and schedule front office staff appropriately to ensure coverage requirements.
- Assist with performance evaluation, promotion recommendations, and disciplinary actions by providing feedback to the Practice Manager
- Monitor appointments, patient flow, medical record, medical transcription system
and staff. - Ensure compliance with regulations and with office’s standards of quality patient
care. - Identify and resolve operational problems.
- Participate in professional development activities to keep current with health care
trends and practices. - Maintain strictest confidentiality.
- Proactively alert practice manager to potential patient relations issues or opportunities.
- Prepare payroll accurately and in a timely fashion, in accordance with established Community Care procedures.

Compensation: $50,500-$65,500 annually
