What are the responsibilities and job description for the Courier position at Community Care Physicians?
We are looking for a per diem Courier to join our Lab and Administration office! You will be responsible for picking up and delivering supplies, medical specimens and packages between all CCP locations with a CCP vehicle. As a per-diem Courier, your schedule will vary based on business need. Opportunities for consistent routes will become available with experience.
As a Courier, your responsibilities include:
- Transport supplies, material and equipment from to site to site within Community Care including laboratory specimens, bank deposits, paychecks, mail, office supplies, and medical equipment.
- Pick up, sort and distribute items to/from assigned locations.
- Complete related paperwork such as mileage reports.
- Maintain regular schedule and communicates any temporary changes.

Qualifications:
Requirements include:
- High school graduate or equivalent.
- Previous work experience.
- Must have valid NYS driver's license and clean driving record.
- Knowledge of safe driving and vehicle maintenance practices.
- Knowledge of Community Care locations and how to read maps.
- Knowledge of handling biohazard materials safely.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision and organize time well.
- Basic understanding & utilization of smart phone including sending and receiving text messages and using GPS.
