The Residential Recovery Specialist will provide support to individuals living with chronic mental illness and/or substance use disorders in a recovery-based trauma sensitive residential facility. The per diem Residential Recovery Specialist will support therapeutic programming, share meals with the clients, facilitate medication compliance, all while building strong, meaningful connections!
This position is great for students or those who want to further their experience in the human service industry. We are looking for staff who can assist in motivating and encouraging individuals toward integration into the community.

Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Must be able to work 2:45pm – 11:15pm for second shift.
- Must be able to work 10:45pm – 7:15am for third shift.
- Ability to demonstrate compassion, sensitivity, and reasoning skills.
- Able to communicate directly, respectfully, and clearly.
- Ability to develop a nurturing relationship with clients.
- Must have a valid driver’s license, reliable transportation with personal automobile liability insurance coverage at or above the levels mandated by the State of Vermont.
- *Successful completion of a criminal history background check after hire.
