About The Role
The Developmental Services (DS) and North End Ranch (NER) Director is responsible for the administrative and clinical oversight, development, implementation, monitoring and evaluation standards of the DS Program and NER Residential Program. These standards include day-to-day operation of administrative and clinical supervision, scheduling and performance management of staff, budget management and overall compliance of the program. The Program Director is responsible for ensuring standards of care to all clientele are established, consistent and maintained. The Program Director ensures adherence to training requirements and ensures adherence to the Licensing Requirements of a Level 3 Group Home. This position may require on-call responsibilities.

Principal Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain clinical programming that supports a high level of client satisfaction.
- Perform duties, both verbally and in writing, in a manner consistent with accepted professional standards of practice and agency policies.
- Provide direct administrative and clinical supervision to all assigned program staff.
- Provide and/or ensure that all program staff meet identified training requirements.
- Ensure compliance with State of Vermont licensing and rostering.
- Provide leadership for all program staff and serve as a model for recovery and wellness through daily staff interactions, trainings and supervision.
- Maintain and develop program service protocols.
- Ensure adequate staffing through recruitment and retention.
- Adhere to and enforce agency policies and procedures regarding attendance, job performance and professional conduct. Consult with HR on any employee concerns.
- Provide oversight of referral process and waitlist management.
- Responsible for collection and synthesizing of data, and completion for annual reports.
- Provide training, supervision and oversight of internal auditing process to ensure documentation compliance for all programs.
- Participates in community relations, education and development activities to drive and maintain census.
- Develop and oversee program budget.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work, Human Services, or a related field preferred. Master’s Degree in Special Education, Social Work or Psychology or related field with combination of proven experience and comparable knowledge a plus.
- Qualified Developmental Disabilities Professional (QDDP) eligible through the State of Vermont.
- Minimum of five (5) years prior experience with developmental/adult services.
- Minimum of five (5) years supervisory experience required.
- Knowledge and compliance with HIPAA policy and procedures
- Proficient skills using Microsoft Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint and other systems.
- Experience with EHR software a plus.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Outstanding organizational and multi-tasking skills.
- Adept at interviewing, hiring, and retaining capable staff.
- Ability to utilize and leverage information technology to support staff and clients.
- Excellent conflict resolution skills.
- Strong attention to detail and a genuine desire to lead.
- Must have a valid driver’s license, reliable transportation with personal automobile liability insurance coverage at or above the levels mandated by the State of Vermont.
- Successful completion of a criminal history background check after hire.
- Competitive Salary - $110,484-$115,000 per year
