A day in the life of an activity assistant:
- Transport patients to doctor's appointments
- Transfer new residents from hospital or home to nursing home.
- Keep the facility transportation log updated.
- Complete maintenance log for any necessary van repairs/inspections.
- Flexible hours
Qualifications:
- Must be 18 or older
- Previous experience in a long-term care, hospital or other institutional setting (preferred, not required)
- Desire to work with the elderly and provide exceptional customer service.
- Must be a self-starter and able to work independently and efficiently
- Reliable transportation.
- Chauffeur's license required to drive 14-passenger van.
