What You'll Be Doing
No two days are exactly the same! You'll help support our Safety, HR, and Operations teams by:
- Keeping employee and compliance databases accurate and up to date
- Managing electronic records through paperless scanning and digital filing
- Tracking employee certifications, training, and important expiration dates
- Monitoring company-wide random drug testing and reporting results
- Updating FMCSA, TPR, DRIVES, Vector, and SafeSchools systems
- Fingerprinting new candidates and helping move them through the hiring process
- Tracking orientation, training classes, and in-service attendance
- Managing our Employee Referral Bonus Program
- Creating reports and helping leadership make informed decisions
- Jumping in to support special projects for our Safety and Training teams
- Helping keep our departments organized, efficient, and running smoothly
What Makes You a Great Fit?

- Loves organization and has incredible attention to detail
- Is an Excel enthusiast (spreadsheets don't scare you!)
- Enjoys learning new software and technology
- Can juggle multiple projects while staying organized
- Communicates well with teammates across different departments
- Is dependable, positive, and enjoys helping others
- Can maintain confidentiality and professionalism
- Likes working independently but also enjoys being part of a fun team
Qualifications
- Associate degree in Business, Office Administration, HR, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Two years of administrative, compliance, HR, or safety support experience
- Strong Microsoft Excel and computer skills
- Excellent organization and time management abilities
- Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
- Student transportation experience is a plus—but we'll train the right person!
- Occasional travel between our Ohio locations (less than 10%)
