Community Broadband Networks (CBN) is a Wireless Internet Service Provider (WISP) dedicated to providing affordable, high-speed internet to underserved communities. As we expand broadband infrastructure, we are seeking a Field Inspector to ensure all construction and installation work meets the highest standards of quality, compliance, and reliability.

Responsibilities
- Inspect completed broadband construction and installation projects to verify adherence to engineering specifications and standards
- Participate in final project acceptance reviews and sign-offs with leadership and municipal partners
- Conduct periodic audits of active work sites, documenting deficiencies and recommending corrective actions
- Oversee and validate fiber splicing, wireless installations, and testing activities to ensure proper tolerances are met
- Maintain comprehensive Field Inspector reports required for compliance, funding agencies, and project closeout packages
- Collaborate with project managers, field supervisors, and subcontractors to resolve quality issues quickly
- Develop and update Field Inspector procedures, checklists, and guidelines to align with industry best practices
- Provide training and guidance to field teams on quality standards and expectations
- Monitor materials and workmanship for adherence to company policies and grant requirements
Qualifications
- 3 years of experience in quality assurance, quality control, or inspection (telecom, broadband, or construction preferred)
- Strong knowledge of fiber optic, fixed wireless, and cabling standards
- Familiarity with engineering drawings, specifications, and testing procedures
- Excellent documentation, reporting, and communication skills
- Ability to identify deficiencies and implement corrective actions effectively
