Full Time Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)
Pay: $21- $26 Hourly

Essential responsibilities:
Behavior technicians implement the plan developed by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). We offer full time opportunities to ensure our behavior technicians have all the support they need. Part time opportunities available. Behavior technicians are viewed as the backbone of ABA treatment and are offered a seat at the table for all treatment planning

Education and/or Experience:
- At least one year of experience working with children and adolescents in a classroom or 1:1 setting; and/or experience working with adults with developmental disabilities; and/or experience implementing the principles of ABA.
- Required: Completion of 60 hours of coursework from an accredited university. Enrollment in college coursework for at least 6 hours per semester from an accredited university. Substitutions of this requirement may be determined by the Director.
- Preferred: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Education, Psychology, Applied Behavior Analysis, Speech and Hearing Services, or a related field. Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) coursework and certification OR willingness to
undergo training.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
- Strong and timely communication skills to work with a diverse team.
- Excellent oral interpersonal skills.
- Respond quickly to crisis situations and be able to handle aggressive and self-injurious behaviors of clients.
- Reliable attendance record.
- Basic computer skills and be able to use all required software.
- Ability to problem-solve and assist in decision-making, including during emergencies or when a supervisor is not onsite.
- Work productively to develop relationships with clients, families, and their team.
- Proven creative abilities, strong organizational and time management skills.
- Maintain a high level of organization for file maintenance, daily, weekly and monthly record keeping.
Additional Requirements:
- Successful completion of fingerprinting and criminal background check; BCI and FBI.
- Satisfactory reference check.
- Completion of CPR training.
- Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and up to date vehicle insurance.
- Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds and quickly respond to children or aggressive behavior.
- Ability to work at a variety of locations.
