A Day Habilitation Direct Support Professional position offers:

· Up to $22/Hour for Qualified Applicants

· An attractive and flexible schedule that fits your life. Our program runs Monday- Friday 8am- 4pm.

Day Habilitation Direct Support Professional – Duties and Responsibilities:

·Safe Driving is Essential:

We are deeply committed to the safety of the individuals we support. As such, we are looking for candidates who:

• Are extremely safety-conscious behind the wheel
• Follow all New York State driving laws at all times
• Avoid distractions while driving—including mobile phone use
• Ensure all passengers are secure, comfortable, and cared for during transport
• Maintain focus and patience during all driving activities, prioritizing the well-being of everyone in the vehicle

A valid driver’s license for at least 1 year is required.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely transport individuals in an agency vehicle to community sites and activities
• Provide engaging, hands-on support and skill-building opportunities
• Promote independence, inclusion, and meaningful participation
• Assist with recreational, social, and developmental activities
• Maintain accurate and timely electronic documentation

Day Habilitation Direct Support Professional Qualifications/Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED
• A valid NYS driver’s license held for 1 year
• Experience supporting individuals with developmental or intellectual disabilities preferred
• Compassionate, positive, and reliable team players
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively
