Schedule/Work Hours:
· Full - time
· An attractive and flexible schedule that fits your life. Our program runs Monday- Friday 8am- 4pm.
Location:
· Work close to where you live in the Capital region

Day Habilitation Direct Support Professional – Duties and Responsibilities:
· Safe Driving is Essential:
We are deeply committed to the safety of the individuals we support. As such, we are looking for candidates who:
- Are extremely safety-conscious behind the wheel
- Follow all New York State driving laws at all times
- Avoid distractions while driving—including mobile phone use
- Ensure all passengers are secure, comfortable, and cared for during transport
- Maintain focus and patience during all driving activities, prioritizing the well-being of everyone in the vehicle
A valid driver’s license for at least 1 year is required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely transport individuals in an agency vehicle to community sites and activities
- Provide engaging, hands-on support and skill-building opportunities
- Promote independence, inclusion, and meaningful participation
- Assist with recreational, social, and developmental activities
- Maintain accurate and timely electronic documentation
Day Habilitation Direct Support Professional Qualifications/Skills:
- High school diploma or GED
- A valid NYS driver’s license held for 1 year
- Experience supporting individuals with developmental or intellectual disabilities preferred
- Compassionate, positive, and reliable team players
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively
