Requirements:

- Experience in Personal Care/Homemaking is Preferred, But It's Not Required. We'll Train You.
- You Must Be At Least 18 Years of Age with a High School Diploma or GED

Responsibilities:
- Personal Care as Needed
- A Successful Home Health-care Aide Provides Personal Care Services Under the Direction and Supervision of the Registered Nurse
- Ability to Follow a Care Plan
- Meal Preparation/Feeding
- Laundry
- Light Housekeeping
- Knows and Follows Infection Control Policies Including Proper Hand Washing Techniques
- Reports Any Observed or Reported Changes in the Client's Condition and/or Needs to the Registered Nurse
- Documents Care Provided and Completes the Forms Required for the Client's Records
- Promotes Personal Safety and a Safe Environment for Clients by Observing Infection Control Practices, Following Agency Guidelines, and Reporting Unsafe Situations to the Supervisor/Case Manager
- Demonstrates Safe Practice in the Use of Equipment
- Communicates Effectively with All Members of the Interdisciplinary Team Through Verbal Reports, Participation in Staff Meetings, and Team Conferences, as Requested
- Treats Patients and Families with Respect. Maintains Confidentiality in All Aspects of the Job
- Accepts and Fulfills Assignments with the Agency. Exercises Good Judgment in Accepting Assignments
- Participates in Required In-Service Programs to Meet Compliance Requirements. Identifies Learning Needs to Agency Supervisor
- Performs Other Related Duties and Responsibilities as Deemed Necessary
Qualifications:
- Meet the Training and/or Certification Requirements of the State in Which the Home Health Aide Services Are Being Provided
- Active and Verifiable State Tested Nursing Assistant (STNA) or Certified Nursing Assistant CNA Certification in Applicable State OR 1 Year of Supervised, Verifiable Experience Within the Last 3 Years
- Be at Least 18 Years of Age
- Demonstrated Ability to Read, Write, and Follow a Written Plan of Care
- Good Interpersonal Skills and a Passion for Caring for Those in Need
- Current Driver's License, Good Driving Record, and/or Reliable Transportation Is Required
- 1 Years of Experience Is Highly Preferred
