Requirements:

• Experience in Personal Care/Homemaking is Preferred, But It's Not Required. We'll Train You.
• You Must Be At Least 18 Years of Age with a High School Diploma or GED
• You Need a State ID/Valid License and Reliable Transportation, Our Clients Depend on Us

Responsibilities:

• Personal Care as Needed
• A Successful Home Health-care Aide Provides Personal Care Services Under the Direction and Supervision of the Registered Nurse
• Ability to Follow a Care Plan
• Meal Preparation/Feeding
• Laundry
• Light Housekeeping
• Knows and Follows Infection Control Policies Including Proper Hand Washing Techniques
• Reports Any Observed or Reported Changes in the Client's Condition and/or Needs to the Registered Nurse
• Documents Care Provided and Completes the Forms Required for the Client's Records
• Promotes Personal Safety and a Safe Environment for Clients by Observing Infection Control Practices, Following Agency Guidelines, and Reporting Unsafe Situations to the Supervisor/Case Manager
• Demonstrates Safe Practice in the Use of Equipment
• Communicates Effectively with All Members of the Interdisciplinary Team Through Verbal Reports, Participation in Staff Meetings, and Team Conferences, as Requested
• Treats Patients and Families with Respect. Maintains Confidentiality in All Aspects of the Job
• Accepts and Fulfills Assignments with the Agency. Exercises Good Judgment in Accepting Assignments
• Participates in Required In-Service Programs to Meet Compliance Requirements. Identifies Learning Needs to Agency Supervisor
• Performs Other Related Duties and Responsibilities as Deemed Necessary

Qualifications:

• Meet the Training and/or Certification Requirements of the State in Which the Home Health Aide Services Are Being Provided
• Active and Verifiable State Tested Nursing Assistant (STNA) or Certified Nursing Assistant CNA Certification in Applicable State OR 1 Year of Supervised, Verifiable Experience Within the Last 3 Years
• Be at Least 18 Years of Age
• Demonstrated Ability to Read, Write, and Follow a Written Plan of Care
• Good Interpersonal Skills and a Passion for Caring for Those in Need
• Current Driver's License, Good Driving Record, and/or Reliable Transportation Is Required
• 1 Years of Experience Is Highly Preferred
