Position Summary
The Dietary Aide plays an essential role in supporting the daily operations of our Dietary team. This position assists in preparing and delivering meals to residents while maintaining a clean, safe, and pleasant dining environment. The ideal candidate is friendly, dependable, and enjoys working with seniors.
Full Time Schedule: 6:45 AM - 2:45 PM; Part Time Schedule: 3:45 PM - 7:45 PM. Every Other Weekend Required. Pay Rate: $15.50/hr
Responsibilities
Assist in meal preparation and service in accordance with resident diet plans and facility policies.
Deliver meal trays and ensure timely service.
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation in kitchen, dining, and food storage areas.
Wash dishes, utensils, and equipment following established procedures.
Follow all food safety and infection control protocols.
Communicate effectively and respectfully with residents, families, and team members.
Support the cook and dietary staff as needed to ensure smooth operation of meal services.
Qualifications
Prior experience in food service or healthcare setting preferred but not required.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to follow instructions and maintain attention to detail.
Compassionate and respectful attitude toward residents and coworkers.
