Part-Time CMA

Community & Family Resources is an organization committed to providing comprehensive substance abuse and behavioral health services. We are currently seeking part-time CMA in Des Moines to work directly with adults within our residential and Outpatient treatment program.

As a Treatment Specialist at Community & Family Resources, you will be part of an organization with a strong sense of purpose and a team that strives to create a positive recovery experience for our patients. Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Monitor and document patient behavior, facilitate patient activities, and coordinate treatment with counseling staff
• Complete admissions paperwork and conduct initial patient orientation
• Update patient electronic records with status changes, progress notes, and reports
  
  

Schedule

The schedule for this position is Part-Time- 2 days per week ( Tuesday and Wednesday) 8a-4:30p

Requirements

• Must Hold an active Certified Medical Assistant Certificate
  
  

Community & Family Resources values employees that have both personal and/or professional experiences with recovery. Qualified candidates will have a high school diploma or equivalent. Candidates must have excellent communication skills and competent computer skills. Preferred candidates will have experience or continued education in a human services or related field.

An observed drug screen and TB test will be required upon hire for this position.
