What are the responsibilities and job description for the Overnight Treatment Specialist-Men's Recovery House position at Community and Family Resources?
Community and Family Resources is seeking Treatment Specialists to assist the clinical counseling staff with providing addiction rehabilitation services to individuals living in our new Men's Recovery House in Iowa City.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assists clients in completion of necessary assessment forms/documents as needed.
- Orients clients to program services.
- Provides oversight and monitoring of clients’ whereabouts and behaviors.
- Offers clients feedback and support.
- Reports client issues to staff.
- Assists with light housekeeping duties, including shredding, trash, vacuuming, dusting, mopping, and other areas as assigned.
- Answers the phone and forwards calls as needed.
- Assist with transportation of clients to scheduled appointments, planned activities, or as directed by the supervisor.
- Assists with searching client belongings.
- Assists with rounds of the facility.
- Assists with follow up surveys and entering data.
Schedule:
We are currently hiring all shifts for this new program. Please specify your availability in your application. Available schedules are below:
- Full-Time Weekday Overnights (Monday-Thursday, 12p-8a)
- Full-Time Weekend Overnights (Friday-Sunday, 8p-8a)
Education and Experience Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Medication Management Certification or ability to obtain certification within 90 days of employment is required.
- A valid driver’s license and proof of automobile insurance is required.
- Lived experience with recovery is a plus!
