Key Duties And Responsibilities
- Responsible for ensuring the data contained in the Electronic Health Record (EHR) is accurate and free of errors to ensure data tracking and integrity.
- Provides data integrity to the billing processes through review of all clinical data being submitted to billing for processing claims.
- Creates and updates EHR forms; ensures that billing and clinical functions/needs are met by forms.
- Reviews updates from EHR to identify new features; rolls out updates and educates staff on how to utilize updates.
- Reviews various error reports and partners with needed parties to correct and submit clean data; makes corrections directly into the EHR where possible.
- Monitors reports to ensure the errors are being corrected and updates employees on their error correction progress.
- Tracks common errors and provides training to staff in order to eliminate the errors in the future.
- Minimum of a two year degree or demonstrated equivalent experience is required. A Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Information Management, Accounting, Finance or Economics is preferred.
- Knowledge of insurance, sliding fee scales, and insurance billing is preferred.
- Experience with electronic health record systems is preferred.
- Knowledge of programming languages such as SQL, R, or Python is preferred.

- Hours: Monday-Friday, 8a-5p (some flexibility available)
