POSITION TITLE: Thrift Store Associate (Part-time)
REPORTS TO: Thrift Store Manager
MAJOR FUNCTIONS: Receive, sort, and stock incoming donations and provide support throughout store as needed.
- Responsible for receiving, pricing, cleaning and conduct proper set up of houseware items.
- Test and clean incoming electronics.
- Cashier responsibilities as needed.
- Complete cleaning checklist duties as assigned.
- Ensure that the store is well maintained, clean and inviting.
- Ability to work independently or as a team member.
- Follow all store opening and closing procedures.
- Oversee volunteers
- Follow CASA’s policies and procedures.
- Other related duties as assigned by management.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Minimum of 3-years Retail experience required
- Demonstrate working knowledge of electronic equipment and ability to conduct proper set up for display and sale.
- Experience in staging all types of products.
- Possess the ability to climb stairs and lift at least 50 pounds
- Possess a valid Florida State Driver’s License and *proof of auto insurance to be annually verified
- Agree to participate in a background check
- Ability to multitask and meet multiple deadlines
- Schedule may vary. May be required to work a flexible schedule
- Ability to work independently or as a team member.
- All employees of CASA are considered “essential” and as such may be required to be available to remain onsite and/or required to assist during emergencies and other critical times.
