Fuel Assistance Lead Intake/Certifier Appeals Specialist POSITION
SUMMARY Interview And Complete Application Intake For Individuals
applying for the Fuel Assistance program (Home Energy Assistance Program
HEAP) Following Funding Source And Agency Guidelines. ESSENTIAL
RESPONSIBILITIES Collect necessary documentation for establishing
eligibility in-person, during phone intakes, and/or mailed information.
Complete data entry of application information. Answer a multiple phone
line system. As provided by the program, learn, and maintain knowledge
of the program\'s regulations and guidelines. Comply with agency and
funders\' paperwork requirements. Provide support with scheduling as
needed. Maintain strictest confidentiality. Remote work available
complying with the agency\'s policy. Attend regularly scheduled
supervision meetings, team and department meetings, mandatory agency
trainings, and participate in professional development activities.
Performs related work as required. This does not cover or contain a

Requirements QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS The Ideal Candidate Will Demonstrate
the following competencies: Interpersonal communication - verbal and
written, in-person and phone Customer service skills Organizational and
attention to detail skills Conflict resolution, problem-solving,
Establishing Priorities, Navigating Change Key Knowledge And Experience
Experience working with communities and individuals with low incomes.
Experience with data management, data capture, tracking methods and
analysis for outcome measurements. Adapt to changing priorities and
demonstrate close attention to details. Proficient computer skills
(Microsoft Suite) and databases. Bi-lingual in English and Spanish,
Haitian Creole, and/or Russian is a highly valued skill for this role.
To Qualify: Minimum Qualifications/Transferable Skills: Two years of
customer service and office experience in a social services or closely
