Strong data management helps the team track outcomes and support CAPSLO’s mission.
What we're looking for in the ideal candidate:
- Must have two years of related experience in data management/systems, or an equivalent combination of related education and experience.
- Must have experience with Microsoft Office, including Excel and database programs.
- Must be able to type 50 words per minute, must provide a keyboarding certificate prior to beginning employment.
- Oversee client data collection, analysis, and reporting for the Homeless Services Division, including data from partner agencies (ECHO and 5CHC), while ensuring confidentiality and data security.
- Train and provide feedback to partner agency staff on Client Track and HMIS software.
- Review and monitor all client data for completeness and accuracy; follow up with staff to resolve missing or inconsistent data.
- Enter data into HMIS from source documents and establish systems to verify accuracy.
- Maintain weekly statistical data for individuals and families served.
- Provide the Planning Department with required statistics for funders.
- Set up systems in HMIS for tracking outcome measurement tools.
- Collaborate with HMIS technical support and CAPSLO IT to resolve software issues.
- Train Homeless Services staff on HMIS applications, reporting procedures, and systems.
- Assist with data analysis for quality assurance.
- Run routine and customized reports as needed.
- Follow all safety procedures and practices to ensure a safe environment for staff, clients, and children.
- Perform other duties as needed.
