Description
We’re looking for a hands-on Marketing & Communications Manager to take ownership of our brand, digital presence, and community outreach. This is a full-time, long-term role responsible for managing day-to-day marketing efforts, including social media, website updates, and content creation. The position will also play a key role in an upcoming organizational rebrand and continue to manage and grow our communications after launch.
The right candidate is someone who is proactive, creative, and ready to execute, in addition to:

- comfortable creating content and managing platforms,
- reaching out, gathering information, and turning it into something useful,
- taking ownership of own work and seeing it through, and
- caring about producing clean, professional results
Key Responsibilities
- Marketing & Communications: Manage and grow social media accounts, maintain and update website content, create posts, flyers, newsletters, and other materials, proactively gather information from departments to promote programs and services, support program marketing and outreach efforts.
- Brand Management: Help implement and maintain a consistent brand, support rollout of updated branding across materials and platforms, and ensure consistency across departments and programs.
- Community Engagement & Events: Assist with small fundraising and participate in multiple community events (PRIDE, PVDFest, etc.) and help promote programs and increase community awareness.

Requirements
Experience
- Experience in marketing, communications, or related work. Candidates may qualify through relevant work experience or a combination of education and experience. We value skills and experience over formal credentials.
- Strong writing and organizational skills.
- Comfortable managing social media and basic website updates.
- Ability to handle multiple projects and take initiative in a fast-paced environment.
- Must pass a criminal background clearance.
