SUMMARY: The WIC Nutrition Education Specialist is responsible for determining participant eligibility, enrollment authorization, and case management. The specialist provides nutrition assessments, nutrition education, and breastfeeding support in accordance with state regulations and program policies and procedures. The specialist is proactive in the efforts to recruit families that qualify for the WIC program and other CAPK programs. Work both independently and as a team member to carry out program activities with minimal supervision.
