Community Action is looking for a committed Emergency Services Advocate to provide case management services to emergency services applicants. This individual will empower participants to reach their goals and help them access community resources.
Starting Pay: $21.98/hour
The Role:
- Provide services for applicants by responding to all requests in a timely manner.
- Ensure all funding requirements are met for each applicant prior to approval.
- Conduct intake assessments on all applicants.
- Offer case management services to all funded applicants.
- Connect participant with appropriate agency and community resources.
Assist participant in creating goal plans and follow through with progress.
- Maintain accurate and complete documentation and files on participants served.
Qualifications:
Associate’s Degree in human services or related field and/or equivalent work experience required.
Case Management experience preferred.
Strong verbal and written proficiencies of the English language required.
Valid Nebraska Driver’s License and good driving record required.
Sensitivity to the experiences, needs, and strengths of low-income and diverse populations, and individuals with disabilities.
