Director of Early Childhood Programs

Job Purpose:
- The Director of Early Childhood Programs at the Community Action Agency of Oklahoma is responsible for providing strategic leadership and direction to all early childhood initiatives. This role is pivotal in ensuring the delivery of high-quality educational services that meet the developmental needs of young children and support their families. The Director will work collaboratively with staff, community partners, and stakeholders to enhance program effectiveness and achieve the agency's mission of fostering positive outcomes for children and families.

Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the planning, implementation, and evaluation of early childhood programs to ensure alignment with best practices and regulatory standards.
- Lead and manage a team of educators and support staff, providing guidance, mentorship, and professional development opportunities.
- Develop and maintain partnerships with community organizations, schools, and other stakeholders to enhance program resources and support.
- Monitor program budgets, securing funding, and ensuring fiscal responsibility.
- Conduct regular assessments of program performance and make data-driven decisions to improve service delivery.
- Advocate for early childhood education within the community and represent the agency at local, state, and national events.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and policies related to early childhood education.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the early childhood programs.

Required Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or a related field. A Master's degree is preferred.

Required Experience:
- Minimum of five years of experience in early childhood education or program management.
- Proven track record of managing and leading early childhood programs, including curriculum development and staff supervision.
- Experience in budget management and resource allocation within educational settings.
- Demonstrated experience in community engagement and partnership development.

Required Skills and Abilities:
- Strong leadership and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and teams effectively.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact professionally with staff, parents, and community stakeholders.
- Knowledge of state and federal regulations pertaining to early childhood education programs.
- Ability to analyze data and implement strategies for program improvement.
- Proficiency in using educational software and tools for program management and reporting.

Salary : $85,660 - $87,801
