Position Overview

They are responsible for the supervision, direction and management of all day-to-day operations, including budgets, at those locations. They will be in charge of building relationships and partnerships with the communities, schools, principals and staff along with local volunteer advisory board members and funders with guidance and support of the CIS Model Services State Director. Candidate should/must live in or near Cabarrus, Cumberland, Edgecombe, Granville, Halifax, Hertford, Jackson, Nash Counties, NC.

Compensation: From $57,000.00 per year

Essential Functions
- With the State Director of CIS Model Services, guide strategy for supporting CIS student support specialists and students across CIS Model Services.
- Coordinates the implementation of the CISNC Annual Plan as it pertains to CIS Model services.
- Using the CISNC Fidelity Rubric, provide direction, coaching and support to staff to deliver high quality CIS model programming.
- Coordinate successful implementation of the CIS Model and Student Support Standards.
- Support Lead Student Support Specialists to conduct reviews of data ensuring program effectiveness, consistent delivery of services, and achievement of expected student program outcomes.
- Develop strong partnerships with school and district leaders where services are being delivered.
- Serve as the principal resource to the Advisory Board and key committees, communicating regularly and openly to stakeholders.
- Support student support specialists as they collaborate with school staff to access, identify and prioritize student needs.
- Develop strategic and diverse community partnerships designed to identify resources to enhance the services provided to CISNC students.
- Supervise the overall case management of identified students and delivery of evidence-based interventions and supports, based on student and school needs.
- Recruit, train (with Lead Student Support Specialist), and manage Student Support Specialists.
- Serve on committees and task forces, as requested, for other county agencies and organizations to assure communication and collaboration on programs and services.
- Oversee and participate in the implementation of fundraising plans to secure adequate funding.
- Coordinate and manage deliverables for all grants/funding.
- Perform other duties necessary for the successful operation of programs as assigned.
- Ability to see, hear, and speak in diverse environments.
- Travel up to 50% weekly
- Must be able to maintain a high level of cognitive function to execute complex tasks
- Must be able to lift 20 lbs.

Required Education/Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in social work, public administration, education, social services or related field is required. Master of Arts in education, social services or related field is strongly preferred
- 2 years of applicable work experience in the education field
- 3 year of management experience
- Sensitivity to and strong concern for the needs of children, youth and their families
- Prior experience in working with diverse communities
- Experience in not-for-profit management preferred
- Valid driver’s license and insurance
- Technologically proficient in all office technology systems including spread sheets, work processing, email, Zoom, and Teams
