We are seeking a Pre‑K Mandarin Lead Teacher to join our Glover Park campus. This role is ideal for an educator who is passionate about early childhood development, language immersion, and creating a nurturing, culturally rich classroom environment.
Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver daily Mandarin immersion lessons for Pre‑K students
- Create developmentally appropriate, engaging lesson plans aligned with early childhood standards
- Support children’s social‑emotional growth and foster a positive classroom environment
- Communicate effectively with families and maintain strong relationships
- Document child progress and maintain required records
- Collaborate with colleagues, attend meetings, and participate in professional development
- Supervise assistant teachers and contribute to a cohesive team culture
- Support NAEYC accreditation and adhere to all licensing regulations.
Qualifications
- At least 21 years of age
- Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or related field OR bachelor’s degree in another field with 18 ECE credits OR bachelor’s degree plus successful completion of Early Childhood Praxis exams
- Experience working in early childhood settings
- Mandarin proficiency
- Strong English communication skills
- Ability to work effectively with diverse families and colleagues
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and participate in daily outdoor activities
