Material Handler
In this role, you will provide services to the world’s largest telecommunications and cable providers. The ideal CTDI team members should have excellent attention to detail, strong verbal communication skills, ability to work independently and within a team. This position performs manual and clerical duties related to shipping, receiving, inspecting, storing, issuing and delivering a variety of materials, equipment and supplies. Availability to work overtime to support customer needs is a plus. Material Handlers are important members of our organization and are responsible for a wide range of tasks in our warehouses and production facilities that can include the following:
Key Responsibilities:
- Executes foundational tasks within a warehouse environment including but not limited to:
packaging, unpackaging, put away, sorting, staging, picking, shipping and preparing units for
production. - Consistently meet or surpass daily production and quality goals.
- Complete required paperwork, forms, or digital records accurately and promptly for
documentation purposes. - Maintain a clean, organized workstation.
- Responsible for following warehouse safety regulations.
- All other duties assigned, based on the business the warehouse supports.

Required Skills:
- Must be able to lift, push, and/or pull to 75 lbs., if necessary.
- The ability to stand and walk for an extended period of time, if necessary.
- The ability to bend, push pull, twist and reach in a continuous/repetitive capacity, if necessary.
- Must be 18 years of age
- Capacity to demonstrate reliability, adaptability, and dependability.
- Attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Basic computer ability.
- Ability to understand and follow directions.
Preferred Skills and Experience:
- Previous experience working in a high-volume distribution, manufacturing, technical service (i.e. testing and repair) or forward logistics operation a plus.
- Handles basic issues and problems and refers more complex issues to higher-level staff.
- Clerical skills.
- Time-management skills.
- Written and verbal communication skills.
