About the Role:
Communications Install Solutions Inc is looking for a driven and skilled Field Technician to join our team in Hermiston, OR. This is a hands-on role perfect for someone who thrives in the field, solving real-world communications and installation challenges. Responsibilities:

• Install, maintain, and troubleshoot communications systems and equipment in the field
• Perform site surveys and assess technical requirements prior to installation
• Run and terminate low-voltage cabling, including coaxial, ethernet, and fiber optic lines
• Configure and test communications hardware and network equipment
• Respond to service calls and resolve technical issues in a timely manner
• Document work completed, materials used, and any site-specific findings
• Coordinate with project managers and team members to ensure on-time project completion

Requirements:

• Prior experience in communications, low-voltage, or telecommunications installation
• Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and field testing equipment
• Knowledge of cabling standards, signal testing, and industry best practices
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record required
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in the field
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Comfortable working at heights, in confined spaces, and in varying outdoor conditions
