SUMMARY
Join a professional team working to connect the real estate market and lending needs of prospective homeowners. As Mortgage Loan Processor, you will handle mortgage loan documentation, for 1st and 2nd mortgage, to ensure timely and accurate packaging in accordance with credit union guidelines. Responsible for gathering and verifying information from pre-approval to closing.

- Familiar with mortgage processes and procedures including real estate regulatory compliance.
- Excellent communication, sales and interpersonal skills.
- Self-motivated, analytical and highly detailed oriented.
- Able to perform basic mathematical functions.
- Able to organize and prioritize workflow.
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
What You Will Do
- Verify, compile and complete mortgage loan applications.
- Ensure loans are completed to meet credit union standards and guidelines.
- Work with other departments to ensure all documentation is in order for on-time closing.
- Communicate with borrowers, Realtors, and other industry personnel to arrange closings.
- Update information on database to submit to underwriting for final approval.
- Other responsibilities as required.
Education and Experience
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Associates Degree in Business preferred.
- At least 1-2 years of experience in mortgage loan processing, origination or closing required.
