What are the responsibilities and job description for the Warehouse Coordinator position at Communication Data Link?
Communication Data Link is looking for a highly organized Warehouse Coordinator to oversee and optimize our inventory operations. This position is for a fiber construction company. This person will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations that ensure the safe and efficient handling of goods. The ideal candidate will possess strong data analysis skills, experience with warehouse management systems, and a solid understanding of inventory control.
Qualifications:
- The ability to prioritize tasks, maintain order, and manage time effectively.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in inventory and documentation.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision to ensure materials and tools are always in order.
- Accurately and efficiently pull and distribute materials and various stock. items to fulfill requests and work orders.
- Sort and place materials on racks, shelves, or in bins according to. predetermined sequence such as size, type, style, color, or product code
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to switch gears quickly as needs arise.
- Familiarity with warehouse management software and systems.
- Experience in Excel.
- Forklift/Telehandler experience and certification is a must.
- Willingness to jump into different assignments as needed like coordinating, operating the GPR, and door hanging notifications around town.
What to expect in this position:
- Working in all weather conditions from time to time, dress appropriately.
- The role will require lifting heavy items and being on one’s feet for. extended periods of time.
- Variety like filling in different roles as needed, like door tagging/white lining job sites.
- Other duties as assigned.

Job Type: Full time
Schedule:
- 8–10-hour shift
- Day shift 7:00am – 5:00pm with 30-minute lunch
- Monday to Friday
- Willing to work weekends as needed
- Over time
