Job Address: 15063 MacCorkle Avenue Cabin Creek, WV 25035 Pharmacy Order Entry Technician – Midshift The West Virginia Pharmacy Solutions Group is currently recruiting Pharmacy Order Entry Technicians- Mid Shift. **This shift runs from 3pm to 3am and works 7 days on and 7 days off.** Benefits Our employees enjoy competitive wages and PTO plans. Responsibilities May participate in one or more of the following activities: Review and input new/readmitted residents to include all pertinent information required to dispense medications in a safe, cost-effective manner for the resident. Use proper phone etiquette to provide facility/resident services. Triage patient calls to appropriate party. Function as primary third party billing resource for Outpatient pharmacy staff. Troubleshoot and resolve billing rejections and subsequently rebill claims to appropriate carrier for all commercial, federal, and state insurance plans. Submit prior authorization requests, follow up on submitted prior authorization requests, and submit claims with approvals as appropriate. Contact payers for medication overrides when appropriate. Assist with prescription audits. Establish and maintain good working relationships with billing operations specialists and Accounts Payable/Receivable. Assist in the development, implementation, and evaluation of third-party billing policies and procedures. Educate pharmacy staff about third-party billing policies and procedures as needed.
