What are the responsibilities and job description for the Weekend Registered Nurse- Crisis Stabilization Unit (7a-7p) position at Communicare?
Responsibilities:
Coordinating all activities regarding required nursing duties and responsibilities,
Assisting the psychiatrist/physician during medication clinics,
Monitoring client progress and problems between medication clinics and reporting relevant findings to the psychiatrist/physician.
Counsel clients on the importance of following medication regimen and observe client’s response to medication.
Complete reports, records, logs and other required data as required for client records,
Conduct in-service training sessions for staff.
Conducting intakes.
Attending administrative and clinical staffing.
Providing various forms of therapy (individual, group, family, marital) as appropriate to level of training.
Receiving clinical supervision.
Participating in consultation and education activities.
Consulting with other staff members regarding clinical cases and issues. Other duties as assigned by the direct supervisor.
