RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide supervisory and administrative responsibilities for the overall operation for up to four locations
- Help ensure standards and documentation requirements are met in accordance to Communicare policies, Department of Mental Health Standards, and Medicaid regulations.
- Recruit, train and supervise staff
- Schedule coverage and fill in for absent staff, when necessary
- Be available for after-hours crisis management as needed
- Perform rounds on all shifts a minimum of one time monthly or more as needed
- Serve as a liaison for clients in obtaining services, including transporting clients as needed
- Assist in establishing policies, procedures, activity schedules, and other information as required and necessary for the operation of the program
- Work closely with Communicare to maintain billing records, fees and client financial records
- Attend meetings, staffings, and other activities as needed
- Work under the supervision of the Director of IDD Services
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Minimum of bachelor’s degree in mental health, intellectual/developmental disabilities or a related field
- Must be CPI certified or able to complete CPI training and any other training required by Communicare and the Department of Mental Health
- Ability to perform the responsibilities of the job as listed above
- Ability to relate positively to individuals who are served through the Supervised Living program and their families
- Must have transportation or access to transportation and be able to provide automobile insurance and an insurable driving record must be maintained continuously throughout employment
- Good management/supervisory and good oral/written communication skills
- Pass a background check
